An all time favorite South Indian dish. The first time I had it was at the restaurant that my brother had started with two of his friends way back in time. It’s been an interesting love affair with Uthappams ever since. One that has intensified on my arrival in Delhi. In fact, on one of my birthdays, I was not offered a cake to cut, but an Uthappam instead! My good fortune that the first South Indian dish that my wifey learned to make was also Uthappam. Good for the belly. 🙂
